It's possible (one of the vert ramps at Kona is concrete) but I think for the money you'd be better off investing in Skatelite.

id really love to concrete surface the entire ramp! i wonder if thats even feasible. im sick of dealing with that top layer of wood and the weather.

You could build the whole half pipe from crete..No Problem...But not crete over wood ...That wont work..

Let me know if you want to do it...

Concrete is way cheaper than skatelite...(1 sheet of skatelite =$150....1 Cubic yard of concrete =$125----thats way more crete than skatelite)
I personally wouldnt buy skatelite...if you really want something with zero maintenance > go crete
I dont know how skilled you are  working with concrete but we have a few of us older skaters who
are pros..

yeah I know alot about concrete, my pops worked at rinker for 30 years, but dont know how to work with it. yeah ill have to post up picks later of the ramp, right now what i have works, but I know its not gonna last another year im afraid. I'll have to seriously think about it.
