I guess I am an evil sort so I of course loved Requim for a dream and Boondock Saints for a happy Saturday night movie.
I also love Donnie Darko.  The kind of movie that watch and the whole thing you are thinking to yourself..."Self...what is going on here?"  Then comes the end...the moment of clarrity which leads to more and more questions!
To prove I am not completely souless...

  Pee Wee's Big Adventure!!

Paging Mr. Herman!  Paging Mr. Herman!

And for Mr. Volland.  I once had that damn movie!!  It was an old Super-8 movie and you are right...Curren, some Davey Smith, and some old school Sand spit.  Maybe it is in a box some place...It was an all Santa Barbara affair.

TTT

want to see a good slow movie, check out love liza with phillip seymore hoffman(sp) i wouldn't say it's enjoyable to watch (on the same level as requiem for a dream is not necessarily "enjoyable" as it makes you feel uncomfortable)
his best role ever(next to boogie nights) which is also a 10/10

also the minus man, with owen wilson is amazing as well. slow, but crazy at the same time.

I thought the pacing was great. Gave time for character development...The only slow part was about 3/4 of the way through after the first major surprise of the film (although there was some foreshadowing to said surprise).

I think the  :bandito: had something to do with it... Fell asleep at the crucial point all three times...
