if you want to watch an excellent movie.. find a copy of 'Thursday' , with thomas jane.. cult classic, the real DVD runs about $200 - $300.

my all time favs:

the scent of a woman
thursday
ray
la bamba
the usual suspects
four rooms

more i cant think of.. i have like 500 dvds.

One movie that I saw recently that really blew me away was Into the Wild.  I put it straight into my top five favs of all time.

Brilliant acting, cinematography, direction and emotion.  I would recommend it but since I also love Death to Smoochy you'll have to take my recommendations with a grain of salt.

this doesn't count as a movie, but the show Queer as folk was reeaallyyy good. it made me feel funny things, like when i used to climb the rope in gym class! i give i 5's snaps!!
