Sorry to hear this. I lost an uncle last year to pancreatic cancer; he had been sick for about a year. Now, whenever I go back to my hometown, I have on less family member to visit.

guess this is the best spot...

all was going well last night then the call came. my next door neighbor, great friend, self-proclaimed surrogate mother, community activist, and our City manager died last night in surgery to repair a valve in her generous heart. We are devastated and want to comfort her husband but now there is very little I can do, it's a helpless feeling.

live every day to it's fullest.

So sorry Nutt.  It hurts so bad when great people leave us too soon.

Dan I was going to ask how she was doing. Very sorry. I had some shit go down over night with some friends. It's too recent to put on here incase the news hasn't hit all the people involved and their family. This situation hits home for most of us.

Still throwing out the positive vibes and prayers to you and your fam Dan-o

Mom's just finished her 6th rd of Chemo in 3 years.  She did not respond to this one well at all..  Cat scan is on Monday to reevaluate.  Hoping for good news, but not feeling it if you follow.  Sad times for sure.

So I get a call this am from a friend of mine telling me a friend of ours and two of his friends have been surfing Nica for the past two weeks.  They were being driven to the airport by their guide Keith when a car hit them head on... Keith and one of my friends died on the scene, the other was in a coma and passed this afternoon sometime.  My friend somehow walked away from all this with minor injuries.  These kids were all in there early twenties..... Keith was American and owned two houses over there lived in one with his wife and two kids and rented out the other.  Im not sure the name of the camp Keith ran, but Im sure this is a pretty big shock over there..
