from my undersatnding the Diamond tail and the bat tail both are kind of gimmicks,  the drive in both shapes is generated from the tail section being so wide.  I wanna ride that thing rooster and see how she goes.

thats what I meant, purely visual aesthetics.... Same as having a wide squash

I have no idea on the dims so don't ask.  Somewhere around 5'6" by maybe 22" and in the vicinity of 3" thick.  I just let him make me whatever he wanted.

If you hold my board up to a swallow tail fish it looks the same other than my swallow is not cut out.  LHL plenty of waves out there, let me know the
next time you paddle and you can try it.  I have it as a thruster, but you can use it quad if you want.

We need to all get together and have our own little board swap.  It would be fun to ride other boards.

got this last friday night and have been riding it every day since.
5'11" O'hare classic Fish, the rest of the dimensions are a guess, 19 3/4 wide about 2"thick.  quote from my wife "wow you were going really fast on those waves" hahahah.  This is my only "standard" shortboard and the smallest board I have ever owned; it absolutely flies!  Sean O tell your Pops thanks for making such quality surfboards, I'm glad to finally have a board from a true craftsman.

Ha, ha!  I think I posted something similar after I started riding my O'Hare fish.  Pat makes an outstanding board.  My only complaint is that mine is getting too "used".  I have so many dings in it, not from poor quality but from riding it so much.  I need to bring it in somewhere and have everything patched up properly.

Nice one stoop. I am betting there isnt much left up at that place. I was gonna put a deposit on an LB. I just havent made it out there yet.

yeah I have only ridden mine once. eek  :imsorry:

I am babying it. I am debating on taking it to pavones. I just dont want the airlines to fuck it up (i need the soma bag). If its way overhead, I would ride my 6'8 anyways...

repost, I know.
