So what kind fo equipment do you need to do it?  A pull up bar?  Bench and weight?  Dumb bells?

Is it something I can write down and bring to the gym with me?  Or is it better to do at home?

you need a pullup bar and some dumbells. i started w/ 20's and finished with 35's. it's fast paced and there's tons of exercises, i guess you could write it down, 1 notebook might be needed per workout though, lol. there's just so many different exercises per dvd.

yea dedication thats what i keep hearing but when it comes to my work outs i get pretty dedicated. especially after an injury like this i like to get back as quick as possible. i'll do what I can with my injury and do it again when i'm at 100% but I want to do something right now. last summer i got a sweet deal with a trainer and he kicked my ass on the daily, i loved it so for the

"whole lot of manliness with a side of ass-kicking" - bring. it. on.

i think the diet part is gonna be tough but at the ranch they can cook me up anything so it'll be a little easier with all sorts of food at my disposal

egg whites, lean pork, ground turkey and chicken breast
only cheese is low fat mozzarella 2% part skim, skim milk, no juice, just skim milk and water.

the good news is, it conditions you for a good diet. I eat egg whites every morning for breakfast now and rarely eat any red meat.

i would honestly get something else to tide you over until you can hit p90x full speed. If your arm isnt 100% you wont be able to do 85% of the exercises

this is coming from someone who did the entire program 100% and only messed up on the diet 1 time. it works, but you have to really do it. it's a program and its intense, not a 'here and there' type of thing. not if you want results anyways.

yea i'll have to guage it when I get the dvds and see.

when I say i'm at 60% though I mean strength wise. I have so much soft tissue damage from them cutting through all my muscles on top of not having used my arm in 3 months, its really weak. I have full range of motion and not so much pain though which is why i want to do it and build up strength and hopefully the 2nd round I'll be at 100%

do you think you can do a pullup now pushup's etc? exercises where you're using your body's weight to generate force against your limbs. You might not even want to do this stuff until your soft tissue damage heals. There are no easy workouts in p90x, and it's non stop, if you dont go 100% and keep your heart rate up you'll gain little to nothing in terms of fat loss/burning calories. just a thought

I will admit, ive tried it (I didnt pay the $$$ for the set) *cough torre...* you dont get the diet plan or whatever.

It IS hardcore. I personally would rather do yoga and a shit ton of cardio to lose any extra lbs. If you want to get ripped asap, it seems to be the right plan.
