Old fishing pics
« on: September 02, 2011, 03:22:30 PM »

Planning on coming back to FL with my girlfriend next month to visit family and show her some of the nicer parts of FL, and also do some fishing with my Dad, which I'm especially excited about since he got a 14' flats skiff earlier this year.  Here's some of our old fish pics from the 70's and 80's.  I'll have to get copies of some of our others when I'm down next month- we used to catch a shit ton of grouper 20 miles off Marco Island before the catch limits, but only the pictures do those stories justice.

1st pic is Dad with a nice Red Snapper from the early 70's. 2nd was a Dade county record Largemouth Bass that weighed 12 pounds something ounces that I caught on a 6" live shiner and my Dad landed in '78 or '79.  3rd some nice dolphin in early 80's from offhsore of Carysfort lighthouse.  4th was our boat in it's better days- hurricane Andrew ruined it.

Right on!   Those are some great pics.   very cool that you and our dad teamed up the bass.   And that first pic???   now I know where you get your hippiness from RMS lol.  I love it!

Florida...what a great place to grow up. ;)
