Old Guy Trying to Skate...Sad.
« on: July 01, 2012, 05:20:08 PM »

Sometimes you look at old tricks and they seem kind of lame. But when someone takes something from the past and fuses it with some good old fashion pushing the limits attitude...it can actually turn out alright. Thanks old guy!

That was rad!  Mike V. was such an innovator all throughout his skating career and clearly he still is.

Mike V. is the equivalent of say maybe Sunny Garcia but without the bad attitude and tax evasion; bad ass power skater whose style is still relevant in modern skate evolution.

That is pretty inspiring considering his age. This video shows how hard it is to land those drops in the transition. Gnarly, he almost went head first into that pole.
