i am catching up on SBK live while i sit at work
every day and im listening to all of the BS that
NBC did when they were showing the games

they were about to show a swim competition
then they go to commercial break
and during the break they have a spot for
an interview with the gold medalist for the next heat

fuckin lame

at least in spain they showed everything without spilling the beans

For the most part stations would start their commentary by saying "spoiler alert" and gave you a sec to change the channel. I just didn't like how there was no time schedule to know when key events were on. Everytime I tuned in it was indoor volleyball.

It was like a comp between china and america anyways.... I couldnt find anything to get excited about. I was hoping the basketball team would lose because those NBA all star brats piss me off.

Swimming was awesome. Indoor VB was sick too. I don't like I could return one serve or score on anyone on the ping pong table. We watched allot of the games. Fencing was cool too. And I was also hoping for Spain to beat us in Bball

I'm sure that was a joke but those water polo guys/girls amaze me.  If you actually watch it and see the beatings they hand out to each other all while treading water is one hell of a feat.

I played water polo when I was in HS and it is an absolutely brutal sport.  Those guys (and girls) are hard core!

There's prob a million good stories about the athletes who won metals at the Olympics.  My question is why is Lolo Jones getting so much press when she only finished 4th in the hurdles? Oh and 1st & 2nd place were both Americans and I couldn't even tell you there name...
