People are pillaging the rubble for anything they can get their hands on.  I read about people taking broken glass, metal and even soda/snack machines and furniture.  Just taking it from the demo site....kinda inappropriate if you ask me but whatever.

You should read all the facebook posts about this thing. I had to delete "you live in Cocoa Bch as well as one other because its fricken rediculous these people sobbing over an eyesore of a building. Get a life. I would have expected this drama when they tore down the Pan Am building, but not the glass bank!

I agree Chris....I think the whole glass bank thing has gotten way out of hand.  Articles and web sites and FB posts....I understand in its day it was a sight to behold and architecture that was unique but it's been in such disrepair for so long that all that glory has long since faded.

Where were all the people mourning it's loss now when there were talks of restoring it or saving it or marking it a historical site?  Not sure that last one was ever even on the table....it just sounded good.  :)

Yep... The inside of the glass bank was as gnarly as I imagined. I did say there would be jars of pee, but dead birds and just general filth suffices.
