I thought so! It is a good place. As a parent, I really thought they had their act together with the kids and their system.

They do, even for the small kids. They do all the gymnastics stuff, self defense and the traditional kung fu. I want my 5 year old to do it too, but on his own will. He has started to show some interest. I just dont want to force him into anything. That approach worked with surfing, and now snowboarding (he is asking for his own board now).

If you want to see the film about our grandmaster, pui chan, and the style of kung fu we do... they did a documentary that won a bunch of film awards, its now for free to watch on hulu... some of my peeps are in it.

Its pretty cool, its about being a foreigner / immigrant and attaining the American dream (in Orlando no less).

Had another BJJ tournament last Sat....had to go up a weight class...again.  I weighed in @ 148 and had to go against guys 170+.

I lost both my matches but I didn't tap so there's that!  :)  My opponents were stalling the whole match.  One guy got on top of me and just held me down with his weight.  The other guy buried his fists into my sternum and held me down.

Not very good jiu jitsu IMO but no illegal either so whatever.
