« on: March 16, 2017, 03:42:30 PM »

Any thoughts?

 :surfgod: Looks energized

Gabe's knee should've ripped in two

Owen? Sorry not the same

Parko, too good not to be appreciated

JJon finally does a turn with the help of Ross Williams  ;)

Prior Event forecasting team. Big fat zero. Can I change my team now?

Oh then there's Nat, I hear that, he and Bobby will be hanging out at a point break near you, I mean me  :P

Happy to be wrong about Owen. Just goes to show you that the Cranberries were right, "It's in your head"

Glad I saw video of Owen pre-event and put him on my team. Slower...yes, but surfing off the tail and driving through turns from start to finish. The end coming after a long series of carves, blow tails, and reverses.

Gabby I must say used his stellar backhand. I always liked his backside surfing more.

On to Margies.

Some fun heats in the Snapper contest for sure.  I thought Kelly was underscored on numerous waves and they should have called an interference on Medina for stuffing Kelly in that one tube.  But, them the breaks I guess.  Stoked for Owen.

Snapper 2018,

Any thoughts?

Colapinto could upset a few stalwarts

Forecast looks bleak this far out but who knows.

There is actually potential for Cyclone development so if it does happen...Will either be small or bombing. Good for picking a team.

Mickey Wright seems like he is up for a wildcard. He might have got a new mullet cut to get him amped up.

Potential is looking more definite. Now we're looking the goods depending on how low it drops and wind fetch. Either way, there'll be waves so start the sand pump now please.

Seems like you guys on the east coast are getting some sand pushed around too.

Do you think :surfgod: has another run in him?

This is way in the past now...

Kelly seems to be having issues with his foot to date. It may ultimately lead to him bowing out. Time is a tickin!

So Mr. Spot On and I have been Fantasy Surfer and WSL Surfer players for a while now. I was asked to join 2 leagues. The first being Spot Ons league and the other with some other pals.

The one featuring a buddy who is a full on crap talker. He tried to give me a lecture on how to play the game! He told my friends to sign up on Monday and I informed him that Australia is a day a head and the contest starts on Sunday. No response. Then twenty minutes later he posts that the contest starts on Sunday and Australia is a day a head.

Well...Surf Rookie...I have started off in 1st in both leagues! And I also realize that as the years go by...the game is getting harder to play. I won because I never picked Kelly, Mick, or Joel and that is unheard of. And a bit sad. As we all age out.

So my expectations are low.

On to Bells!
