They are rad though.  But as far as the Vanagons go the one to have is the Syncro Westy.  Those are sweet!

I went poking around through the Samba again
as I am wont to do after somebody says "bus"
and that bus is probably priced about right
on the Samba scale, admittedly a bit high.
Plenty on there for $20K+

This thing is sweet!  Standard sunroof busses are super rare!

25K for a bus though? wow.. I would want it completely restored for that much, like gas monkey style with air shocks and the whole 9.

I saw a vanagon that was rhinolined on that site for 5500 that looked sweet. You could get a custom jeep in good shape for 25k.

And while we're dreaming, why not a TDI bus
already set up for veggie oil?
It'll pay for itself in fuel savings I'm sure!

VW antifreeze is pink.
(My middlest has a new beetle.)
I know I knew that,
I just forgot.
Green is the old stuff.
Orange is the new stuff.
Red is for Toyotas
and VW's is pink.
Dang, it's a FL sunset of antifreeze.
:)

Oh man, the VW purists must HATE that thing!  Not my cup of tea but it is pretty rad, you have to appreciate the engineering involved in that.  I bet the lope of the cam and those headers give it away though.

I dont know how it sounds, my buddy Moe took the pic somewhere in cocoa...  It might sound tame with with that muffler on it. Those headers are awesome.

I personally would have the front covered chrome moly tubes. Its not a vehicle I want to do fast accelerations in by default hahaha
